About Us

The Forum of Executive Women - Delaware was founded in 1992 by an organizing committee of Wilmington area women executives.

A kick-off breakfast was held on March 30, 1992. The program was a panel moderated by Sally Hawkins, President of WILM Newsradio. Panel participants were Dolores Antunes, Regional Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Avon Products, Inc., Maxine Colm, Ed.D., Vice President Employee Relations, University of Delaware; and Rebecca Carney, a past president of the Forum of Executive Women in Philadelphia.

The Forum holds some twenty meetings each program year -- breakfasts, dinners, luncheons, and parties. All meetings are held in the greater Wilmington DE area. There are no attendance requirements but members find the comraderie and relationship-building opportunities a strong incentive to frequent attendance.
